Hello All,
I stopped taking propranolol approximately 4 weeks ago, and Buspar approximately 5 months ago (I think). My speech has been excellent, I still stutter but not as much, when I do stutter I get through it easily.
I found Propranolol was slowing me down to point I could not exercise because I was out of breath way to fast. I started a new position at work, working with new people. I usually stutter in these situations but I fit right in.
I spend alot time on the phone because people are calling in for information on their police cases, and I have to speak to them. Most of the time I don't stutter (PRAISE GOD).
I have an oral board on 06/06/06 with a police department in my area, I'll let you know how it goes. I'm already a certified peace officer but I would like to work for another department (GOD willing).
