Has any stutterer on this forum had any success with this method?

Hello there.
I use costal breathing to control my stuttering - it's not a total solution, but a lot of the time it helps me.
Do you have any specific questions?

I have never used it myself but from reading about other people who have been taught it, it does seem to help in many cases. From what I can gather though you need to keep up the practice once you leave the course and if you don't then it is very easy to regress back to what you were like before.
I've never done it myself like I say but I think it would be quite hard to remember the techniques in the heat of battle so to speak if you are talking to someone and start to block or stutter. I would think that panic would set in and I would forget to breathe properly but I guess you get told how to deal with this on the course.
