Hello everybody,
My name is Bernie Weiner and I live in Troy, Michigan. I am 56 years old and have been stuttering most of my life. I am currently the cochairman of one of the largest National Stuttering Association support groups in the U.S.
I am married, with two grown children and a 2 1/2 year old grandson. I work at General Dynamics Land Systems as an Engineering Records Specialist.
I am no longer looking for the "cure" for my stuttering. I just try to "stutter easier" and not let it interfere with my daily life. Since joining the National Stuttering Association,in 1995, my attitude towards stuttering has changed completely.
In June, I will be at the NSA convention in Baltimore, Maryland. This will be my 10th convention. Hope to meet a few of you there.
