Hello,
I am Mark, i am 16 years old, and have been stammering since at least 9 years old, and i am determined to get rid of my stammer. Only my best friend knows i stammer (who also stammers), none of my family know. I havent been to any therapy courses either.

do you think maybe your family know that you stutter and dont know how to approach you about it.

Greetings Mark, I echo some of the words of the veterns on this forum. Your parents know, but they don't see it a problem and they have great respect for you. They figure if you are not concerned about it, then they are not concerned either. My Dad or grandmother, the two who raised me, didn't make an issue about my stutter at all. I can't remember my Dad ever talking with me about my stutter.
