Cool, I just printed that article about 2 hours ago. I found it by doing a web search under "positive thinking to cure stuttering". I came up with a bunch of stuff concerning pos. thinking and increased fluency.

I tried this method for about six months a few years ago and had very little results. The concept of keeping a blank mind throughout the day doesn't do it for me. Any type of Zen meditation always seems to worsen my speech.

Sorry to dredge up an old thread.
I came across that interview 8 years ago and found it inspiring.
It's interesting how he views stuttering as a bad habit.
And I can definitely relate to the "burning gate" :)
