Hi all,

I've been feeling really run down for the past couple of weeks and have found my stutter is so much worse than normal. I wouldn't consider myself stutter as really bad normally, but things that I could say fluently before, I know falter on.

Has anyone noticed this with themselves?

Cheers
Mark

Mark,

The same thing happens to me so dont think you are alone on this.

The goods news
is that once you feel
better your speech goes
back to the way it used to be.

Add me to that list also. I don't have too much a problem, but yes my stutter does act up somewhat. Maybe also because my mind is focus on the sickness and dreading the feelings of being sick.

This can affect me one of two ways.

If I am on a natural high I can be very fluent, feel really good about myself and talk to everyone and everything about anything,
On the other hand if I am too high and over excited my speech goes to pieces as I try and get my words out to explain my excitement.

Steve,

I think you could have a point there. As us oldies (You included) experience the same feelings, kids must feel it a lot more with the new things that happen in their young lives.

Nick

P.S. I am still a kid at heart.
