They work great for a time, but after a time, your brain adapts to the device, sometimes the device stops working, and many are so expensive that we stutterers can afford to purchase one, so we live in stuttering anger!!

So if one has lot's of money to buy different devices every time a device being already used fails, one might be in good shape....!

Hello! I am a woman. There are at least a few of us out there. I remember reading a long time ago that males are more likely to stutter and women are more likely to grow out of stuttering at an early age. Maybe that is why females aren't equally represented in the forums.
