Can it be cured?

YES! You can cure your stuttering; many people have, why not you or me? Accepting the current status quo -I am a stutter and I will stutter till I die- only makes you a comformist. You'll achieve nothing with type of mentality.

It is very easy to sit down, cross your arms and do nothing. On the other hand, it takes a lot of determination to overcome stuttering, but it can be done.

We feel down so easily because the pressure of stuttering is constant.
We feel down because the results are not instant and take times.
We feel down because we have turned stuttering into a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Because we are down, we dont continue practicing, reading, etc.

Be strong.
Be consistent.
Be confident you will achieve fluency.: make this one of the main priorities in your life, work hard and you will conquer.

Roll with the punches and dont let stuttering control your life. Dont stop doing something because of your stuttering:

Do that important presentation.
Order that meal.
Ask that girl out.
Use the phone.
Etc.

Reading out loud 1 hour a day in front of a mirror HELPS ME TREMENDOUSLY: I have achieved near-perfect fluency thanks to doing this everyday for over a month, this was 3 years ago but I stopped reading and reverted back to my old self. I'll start this again but I wont just stop, I will read every day and im confident I will be cured.

We can conquer stuttering. Be positive, peace.
