I can talk fine for several minutes but then I trip up on some word and then the looks I get . My stutter is more apparent around females and for me this is the real problem. People tend to take my stutter around females as a sign that I am ually frustrated this happened in high school and still happens to this day I recently asked a female out and she declined after which I find out from her friend that she said no because of my stutter and she did wonder if I stuttered because I was ually frustrated I never had a girlfriend and I am tired of being alone. I know people are going to say I should be positive about things but its getting a little hard when I don't have any positive experiences I have male friends but they have a SO and when I get invited to do something she is usually there and I end up feeling like a third wheel. I see what they get to experience and it bothers me that I never been able to experience it |

Hello and welcome. I can relate in that it can be very annoying and frustrating when stuttering crops up when you are talking to a woman on a date or whatever.
