Default Headsets and videogames?

Hey there!

I wonder if anyone here plays any video- or computergames, and tends to talk to your friends(or not friends) in your microphone/headset while playing?

Myself I play a lot of games, and I sometimes talk in my headset. It is a bit frustrating sometimes as in my fast-pace first person shooter games I have to be fast to tell people what I am suppose to do, where the enemy is at or where to go. Those things is not always so easy, so all I tend to say is very short sentences like "I go B" (B stands for bomb-place B in the computergame Counter-Strike), "Behind us" or just "Need help".

Not much of a chatter but keeps the teamplay intact for sure.

So, what about you people. Do you play games and talk in headsets?

If someone is interested perhaps we could team up a few people here and make our own server where we could play and talk to each other. Stammerer to stammrer. That would be awesome!

Cheers!

I am a big computer game fan. But those MMORPG things are too confusing for me to learn! So no headsets for me!!!

It's computer games, XBox 360, Playstation 3 stuff for me.

The only time I use a headset is when I try DAF software or listen to CD's in my computer!

happy7117: I don't really play MMORPG's either, for the same reason really. Those are often very HUGE and you have to keep track of a lot of stuff and do a lot of quests to get one item or just to raise a level. Nothing for me.

Do you have a PS3? Then perhaps you could add me? hobbex is my username on the Playstation Network. At the moment I have no Xbox 360, but I plan on getting one later on, also an Nintendo Wii.

I am not so often online on the PS3 as I currently have no router to splitt my internet connection, and if i switc cables maually between my PC and the PS3 I will have to wait about 30min before it refreshes the IP so I can connect, which is very annoying.

Power of three: Yeah, it's much better to have hobbies with outdoor activities. I tend to play soccer with some of my friends, or go out partying on the weekends. That's the closest that I can get to outdoor activities, hehe.

And thanks for the lucky wish(is that the right way to say?). I really hope to get some people together for a online gameplay, that would be really awesome.

But as it seems to me this forum is a bit "dead". There's almost 1 600 registered users on this site, but almost no activity at all. I've seen 5-10 people online at the same time, tops. That's a bit sad. :\

i agree with you, there is more to life than our stutter. We all have lives, hobbies and we sure can more friends in our lives. We already share one thing in common. I would play with you online, but most of my experience with video games goes back to cave drawing.

Your reply I think was meant for Power Of Three, and not for me! I clearly remember not posting the following
