Default xanax xr and celexa questions

hi all

what type of doctor prescribes xanax xr / celexa? is it a psychiatrist? can speech pathologist/therapist prescribe them?
Is it possible that if ever I take xanax xr, i would only take it on the day that I know I will have anxieties ( I would be talking in front of a crowd)? And all other "no speeches" days, I can skip xanax xr.
thanks.

I personally take Lorazepam which is like valium. It relaxes me and makes speech easier. Only part is it takes me 4 pills or 2MG to feel the effects, which is why i don't like using it more than twice a week. As i understand it a speech therapist is unable to perscribe any form of drug. I get mine from my Family doctor.

if you have a pharmacist friend or a even a tech, ask he or she to "provide" you some.
