Default How do I take out a loan??

I am sick of saying I don't have money to pay for some good device or therapy to help me, so I've thought of something else.

A loan.

I've been putting this crap off for too long, so I'm gonna get the money no matter what.

I need to know how to get a loan from my local bank..

Any experienced bankers on here that know how to take out a loan?

If I don't get that money somehow, my stutterer will not lessen.

If I can't afford a device, I will get a loan to pay for it.

Default re : loan

Good move! You can just walk into a bank and get one! [Apply in 5-10 banks for the best bet]. There are also usually more seedy pawn shop-type places under "loans" in the yellow pages that will give you short-term loans at high interest rates. If you WANT a loan, you'll get one if you're persistent.
BUT-- Many devices are potentially* covered by health insurance. When I first bought my fluency enhancer [fluencyenhancer.com]--at my request, the center provided me w/ some paperwork that helped about 1/4 of the cost get covered by health insurance [I've heard of others whose health ins companies covered even greater portions]...Also, some states have--I forget the exact term--but Vocational or Work Vocation programs--that pay for such things entirely-- I know of at least one guy in Indiana who got the whole thing paid for..

happy ,just because you take out a loan and buy some device or do a program does not mean you will be cured ,your chance of relapse will be high then you are stuck paying off some loan with a high interest rate for nothing

Not to worry! I am not expecting a cure, and I am not hoping for a cure because so far we know that for stuttering, one is not possible.

But it's better than writing out another negative post about how I don't have money to pay for therapy.

Doing something to help myself, is better than sitting on my you know what whining about it on the forum.

Also, I would not be paying the loan back. It would possibly be from Social Security or Vocational Rehab.
