Default Dealing with "bad days"

I was just curious about how u all cope with really really bad days. You know, the days where u completely embarrass yourself during conversation or something. What do u do after something like that?

I usually go home and replay the entire conversation over and over again in my head - and this goes on pretty much until i fall asleep. Then in the morning i try to brush it off and say "today's a new day, let's not screw it up."

But over time, i've learned to brush things off quicker. If i destroy a sentence or something, i often walk away from the 'scene of the crime' and regroup.

Whenever I'm in that situation, I just give it a "whatever" and move on. Seriously, I'm about tired of feeling sorry for myself.

Nothing I can fricken do since every day is an embarrasing bad day stuttering wise for me.

It's hell on earth and I can't cope. so I wait it out unberabely.

Without money for any device or treatment, I'm screwed..well that's putting it mildly.

I don't know how others can cope because I sure can't.

I just got done with a chat with my mom and barely could get out one single thing. She said "OK" when in fact I know she did not understand a single thing I said.

When in fact, she could have interupted me to help me with another episodic rediculace struggle of stutter crap, she said nothing and waited for me to say what I just wasn't able to get out.

And at the conference which was the ultimate experience ever, we learned that we should not be angry when we stutter and be gratefull to be who we are.

If they only knew of a typical nasty stuttering day for me with nothing to help it.
