Well pagaclone studies are ready to be launched... I think they need at least 300 people to be in the study in order to have validity in their results. I know the questionaire and information is available here, with locations and everything! Here is the site http://www.stutteringstudy.com

Lol, I'd rather not take the 50% chance of getting on another daily pill.

I hope this drug will prove to be helpful in reducing severity of stuttering. With time as science advances, scientists will be able to learn more about how our brains work. With this new knowledge, they will be able to make much better drugs with less side effects. They will probably be more effective in reducing stuttering. Farther in the future, advanced molecular Nanotechnology might be able to cure stuttering by using advanced nanomachines. This will make it possible to easily modify our brains and correct any neurological abnormalities that are in our brains and also possibly genetic abnormalities that are in our DNA that cause Stuttering Disorder. All of this is likely to happen in the not so distant future like from 2025-2050.

I'm pretty sure it is not too late to sign up. They are going to do these trials until they have sufficient information. So the more of us sign up, the quicker this will get released to the market (if at all). I signed up and waiting to hear back from the clinic

Just make sure you say you started stuttering under the age of 7 when they ask and also that you haven't tried any therapy in the last 5 months :-)

I originally signed up last week I think,I just got a phone call from one of the people running the scranton,PA trial.I passed the phone exam for going to the next step to see if I will be definitely accepted in this trial.I go april 20 for the lab work and reading in front of a board of people. If I pass this ,Im in.From what I was told the next time I go after that is the pill dispensing. Then I beleive they call you on the phone a couple times and you also need to go back a few times. They give you $50.00 reimbursement every time you travel to their clinic except lab day. That will more than cover my gas in the 1 hour trip in getting there. Also, after the trial is done, anybody who went through this trial will get 1 year free Pagaclone.Sounds good to me
