Default What Kind Of Speech Disorder Do I Have?

I initially didnt have a speech disorder when I was small. But then I began to develop speaking problem beginning from my early teenage years until now at the age of 21. I dont know if my problem is called stuttering because I dont stutter for example like saying, "Bbbbbb...itch" or "Jjjjjjjj...ack off". My disorder is that certain words or sentences just wont come out of my mouth properly. They just sound gibberish. When I speak it feels like my mouth is dry and my back jaw muscle is stiff. If I wanna talk properly I have to slow down GREATLY and even then I often still blurt out incomprehensibly when I have to say certain long sentences or words especially those containing a lot of D's or TH's such as "Credit card, How did you do that?, What are you talking about? Is there anything else I can help you with?, etc"

This disorder of mine has basically destroyed my social life completely. It makes me feel very angry until I cry many many times.

So can somebody please identify my speech disorder and maybe suggest some solutions?

Thanks a lot,

It's obvious that you have some kind of a speech disorder. To find out which one you have to see a speech pathologist (speech therapist) or your family doctor. We can't diagnose you over the Internet. That's why it's the only way for you to be sure. Good luck and I hope you'll get better with time.

PS: I know how you feel in terms of having no social life. Believe me that with enough time, a lot of hard work and God's help anything is possible. As long as people understand you at the end it doesn't matter how you speak. So don't be afraid to talk to new people and making new friends. Good luck!

Sorry, could you try to explain it again? You just mix up your words a lot?

If it bothers you a lot, you could make an appointment with an SLP, I'm sure they would help you out more than we could.

Could it be something closer to "cluttering"?
