Default Introduction and purpose

Hello everyone.

My name is Andreas and I reside in Sweden. Am 19 years old and I stutter.

Now, i haven't stuttered all my life. it began while in 5th grade or so and my friends where the ones who first noticed it... with a smile.

I have been very discreet and awkward with my stuttering and few people in my presence know of it.
How do they not know it? Well, my stuttering limit my speech, making me quiet. And while being quiet - I don't stutter! This is really a bizarre limitation in social events.

I know many of you feel the same way, and luckily I found this where I hope my experiences along with yours will help one another.

wow, basically my story as well

I also began to stutter around 5th grade and most people don't know it cause I mostly stay quiet and when I do talk I talk very little, thus not many people know it. It has limited me greatly but I manage.

What do you manage? Do you manage avoiding stuttering by being quiet, or do you manage talking your will even though you may stutter?

I mean, whenever our actions, our will to be put into action that is, are limited by our stuttering, that is not managing. I have this problem, and we have only rubbed the surface of the reason and potential aids. I wish It'd go away and hopefully time will heal, + help from others. Easier said than done goes for a lot of replies on this forum
