Hello,

I've aways had a problem in regards to stuttering and fluency. I also sometimes lack the structure when I'm speaking and am uncomfortable when it comes to speaking to people, arguing with people and most times explaiing my reason.

I don't think I'll ever be able to get over this and not sure what to do?

I've tried speech therapists but they are way too expensive.

Hi

I am new here, and just noticed you message, I am waiting for an appointment from the NHS,
The way I did it was to ring one and ask for a "self referal" and then she said that the waiting times are about 4/6 weeks in my area, and that I am on the list.
Perhaps you should do the same, as if I went private with the same lady, she would be charging me £60.00 a session! whereas by going on the NHS it is free!!!
