Default one more desperate...is there a real solution???Help

hi there everyone, Its Mario from Spain

Im new here, and i hope to find new ways to deal with our problem cuz time is passing and im getting down little by little.

Let me talk about my experience...

The first thing that I have to say is that my problem is not so big, some dont notice that im a stutter...it depends as everyone here on days or periods.
So i have a little problem, not something really really inconfortable, but that small one is still a pain, and determinate the way people look at me, treat me, my relations, my firsts times with new people, etc....

I went to a specialist sometimes but they sit me, they ask me who am i...and after 20 minutes talking they always say: I really dont know whats your problem.
I articulate and emit well, my diction is not bad but i feel confortable just talking to someone in a room.

I stutter ALWAYS by the phone, with quick answers-names, city, age-,reading, people not so friendly, older than me...enbarrassing situation, argueing, in front of an audience, in class...

in a few of them sometimes happens

Im a singer, and a front man too, and sometimes i talked so well by the mic but im all the time holding the situation, so you cant leave yourself to go, you tend to run and finish asap...lets say that you re not free, it happends to eveyone but for us more difficult and im always scarred to fail in that situation, cuz is it happens its really hard to control after that.

I khow the first step: SELF ESTEEM , AND ACCEPT MYSELF, but........

Which comes first??? my stuttering makes me unconfident???

or

or cuz im a unconfident person it makes me stutter????

I really want to overcome this situation, and i think i have to do it by myself, i hope you can help me guys...thanks to everyone

you are asking what came first the chicken or the egg? tough to answer.

let's wait until the neurologists/brain experts/drug experts check in and see what they say....

It is very simple, stuttering causes a lack of confidence, not the other way around.

I can help you, Pm me I am a 57 years old former severe stutterer,
I am now a mild stutterer. You suggestion that you are ready to accept your stutter puts you half way there. When most therapies start you off, they start you off with how much hard work you need to do, and how it might take years or the rest of your life lol.

What took me from a severe to moderate stutterer is very simple, not hard work at all, not any work at all . Just a few easy steps.

Oh thank GOd we have found the one! He can help us, a former severe stutterer now only "mild"!!
Who would say it could "take of the rest of your life " to get over your stutter, even if it was true who would really say that?

Oh Gosh, don't keep us in suspense, no hard work, no work at all!! (if that was true why would you want this person to write back to find out how to do this and keep all of us moderate to severe stutterers in suspense????!!!

Oh, ok, alright, how much$?
